It allows you to connect an unlimited number of attributes to a product, such as width, length, substance, quality, type of wrapping, color and moisture content. The attributes can be used throughout the entire process flow, from forecasting, order entry and planning, right through to manufacturing, inventory control/warehouse management, distribution, and delivery and invoicing. 字串2 字串2 Movex Paper offers powerful attribute management throughout the entire process flow, from forecasting, order entry and planning to manufacturing, warehouse management, distribution and delivery through to invoicing. 字串5 One of the essential building blocks of attribute management in Movex Paper is the detailed order requirement, which is created at order entry and shows all requirements and related attributes for each level of product used. The generated requirements are in turn based on the defined product structure, which itself can be controlled using attributes. You can specify the attributes at order entry or later during the planning stage. 字串4 Product Management 字串2 字串1 Each product level can be defined with unlimited number of attributes. 字串5 One of the most important parts of an attribute-based system is the ability to define and efficiently manage product definitions and product structures (recipes). Movex Paper supports this by allowing you to connect an unlimited number of attributes to every product identity. An attribute can be defined as a part of the identity or as numeric with defined allowed tolerances or text information with or without acceptable defined values. An attribute can also be calculated by other attributes, such as hard-coded values, or calculated directly from other attributes through formulas, matrixes and related objects. The attribute values can be defined per product or product/customer and be set as changeable or non-changeable. The attributes related to a product can be used to influence the whole flow (described in each process) and to manage the order in an unlimited number of units of measure. 字串1 Sales 字串2 The sales process in the paper industry is mainly focused on landing and following up on customer orders. The planning part of this process is mainly based on forecasts, while quotations, spot orders or call-offs from an agreed contract can initiate customer orders. In this process it is important to be able to define forecasts and orders with attributes, enabling control at a level that allows you to project sales as well as the volume and type of production needed. 字串5 Movex Paper allows you to take attributes into consideration in the sales process at these times: 字串5 At forecast entry 字串4 When booking forecast capacity in the block schedule 字串4 During forecast consumption (you can select whether or not the forecast is consumed by the customer orders) 字串5 During entry of quotations that can be converted into customer orders 字串4 字串1 A forecast can be defined on a selected level to be consumed or not by a customer order, and attributes, are used to control the criteria for this consumption. 字串1 Order Fulfillment 字串4 The basic premise of attribute management is to obtain selected information at order entry to uniquely define the ordered product. This capability in Movex Paper is far superior to SKU based systems that require you to fully define the product using a pre-created, inflexible SKU number and bill of material. In Movex Paper, you can enter values for an unlimited number of attributes connected to a product at the order line level. The given value for each attribute can be retrieved from the product or the product/customer definition, calculated by other attributes, or it can be manually entered. Depending on how the product or product/customer definition is set up, an attribute can be changeable or not changeable. 字串9 Regardless of how the data is entered, Movex Paper checks that it lies within the permitted range or that it contains the permitted text or discrete value which of course can be selected from a list box. Also, you can control the product description using attributes. The description can vary depending on customer, language or different product attribute values. 字串6 Attributes that are not needed to uniquely define the end product can later be defined and used in downstream processes such as planning. 字串1 After order entry is completed, you can make dynamic, attribute dependent calculations in order to: 字串7 Determine price 字串4 Select materials and/or operations 字串8 Calculate operation time and material usage 字串9 Select process levels 字串6 Check and allocate inventory as well as select and book capacity in the correct rough-cut capacity-planning group. The selected group is controlled via selected attributes, such as range of substances and shade. 字串6 字串2 Based on the attribute values specified at order entry, Movex Paper automatically creates all demands with related attributes on all levels. 字串1 Also, you can perform a cost calculation to determine the profit of the order line. By using attributes, complicated calculations can be made at order entry. Otherwise, a planner must handle these types of calculations. 字串6 Movex Paper also provides additional support at invoicing.
